The Power of Water
Waterjet cutting uses water under extreme pressure to cut materials with unmatched precision. This technology offers unique advantages where traditional cutting methods fall short.
With no heat impact, we can machine even the most sensitive materials, from thin foils to thick metal plates, all with the same precision and quality.
Types of Waterjet Cutting
Pure Waterjet
Uses only water under high pressure for soft materials such as food, rubber, foam and textiles.
- No material contamination
- Ideal for the food industry
- Very accurate cuts
Abrasive Waterjet
Adds abrasive materials to the water jet for cutting hard materials such as metal, stone and ceramics.
- Cuts all materials
- No heat impact
- Complex geometries possible
Benefits of Waterjet Cutting
No Heat Impact
Cold cutting processes preserve material properties and prevent distortion or changes in hardness.
Extreme Precision
Tolerances down to ±0.025mm are possible, ideal for critical applications and fine details.
All Materials
From soft materials to hardened steel, titanium and even exotic alloys - everything can be cut.
Complex Shapes
Intricate geometries, sharp corners and fine details without any limit on shape complexity.
The Waterjet Process
Process Steps
- 1. Water is pressurised to 60,000 PSI
- 2. Focused jet through a diamond orifice
- 3. Abrasive material is added (if needed)
- 4. Precision cutting according to the program
Technical Specifications
- Pressure: Up to 90,000 PSI
- Thickness: Up to 200mm possible
- Tolerance: ±0.025mm
- Kerf: 0.8-1.2mm wide
